This thread gauge allows the embroiderer to accurately adjust top thread tensions. The gauge is hooked to the top thread from the presser foot. The embroiderer pulls on the thread and can determine the tension the embroidery machine is exerting on the top thread. Top thread tensions can then be adjusted to the desired level of tension has been achieved.

  • Ideal for commercial and home machines.
  • Recommended tension settings for Glide Polyester thread are between 90-110 grams.
